WTI AG takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We align our data processing with the goal of collecting, processing or using only the personal data necessary for the meaningful and economic use of our services. In the following, you will learn when data is stored during the use of our Internet offer and how we use it. We have taken technical and organizational measures to ensure compliance with data protection regulations. Our offers are subject in particular to the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU-DSGVO) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).

Storage of data when accessing our pages

In connection with your access, data is stored on our servers for backup purposes that may allow identification (for example, IP address, date, time and pages viewed). These are not used in a personalized manner. In order to evaluate and continuously improve the quality of our Internet offering, we perform statistical analyses of access to our pages. This is also done in part by using counting graphics attached to the pages of our offer. However, the data obtained in this way is strictly anonymous and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about users' personal data.

Based on our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO) Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC ("Google"). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online offer by the users is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Google is certified under the Privacy Shield agreement and thereby offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).

Google will use this information on our behalf for the purpose of evaluating your use of our website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. In doing so, pseudonymous usage profiles of the users can be created from the processed data.

We only use Google Analytics with IP anonymization activated. This means that the IP address of users is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

The IP address transmitted by the user's browser is not merged with other data from Google. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly; users can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to their use of the online offer to Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

For more information on data usage by Google, setting and objection options, please refer to Google's privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads) as well as the settings for the display of advertisements by Google (https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated).

The personal data of the users will be deleted or anonymized after 14 months.

Use without disclosure of identity

As a matter of principle, we do not pass on any personal data to third parties. In particular, no data is passed on to third parties for advertising purposes. If you use personalized services of our offer, however, the collection of personalized data and their disclosure to third parties may be necessary for the purpose of implementation and processing of the service. Under no circumstances will the data we collect be passed on to third parties or linked to personal data without your consent.

Please also see below our information on the rights you have in relation to the processing of your data.

S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, 2449 Luxembourg, Luxembourg.

The personal data transmitted to PayPal are usually first name, last name, address, email address, IP address, phone number, cell phone number or other data necessary for payment processing. You have the option to revoke your consent to the handling of personal data at any time to PayPal. A revocation does not affect personal data that must necessarily be processed, used or transmitted for (contractual) payment processing. The applicable data protection provisions of PayPal can be found at www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full.

Cookies

A cookie is a text file that is either temporarily stored in the RAM of your computer ("session cookie") or stored on your hard drive ("permanent" cookie). Cookies are not used to run programs or download viruses onto your computer. Cookies are only associated with your computer and can only be read by a web server of the domain that created that particular cookie. We use "session cookies" to minimize the transmission of authentication information for security and convenience reasons. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. These cookies are exclusively technical in nature.

You have the option to accept or decline cookies at any time. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser setting to refuse all cookies if you prefer. Alternatively, you may be able to set your browser to warn you each time a cookie is about to be dropped so that you can selectively accept or decline cookies. However, if you choose to disable cookies, this may reduce performance and have a negative impact on your use of our sites. In particular, the search function may be restricted in TecFinder and lead to unexpected error messages. Please refer to the individual setting options of your browser for this.
